Some creatures have it easy. like our friend here, the Hermit Crab!
He doesn’t have to worry about weatherstripping, drafty windows, or dirty furnace filters. if his house isn’t doing the job for him, he can just pick a new one. that’s not so easy for the rest of us!
I know I can’t just up and move, so I’m taking the initiative to check my furnace filters out, and replace them if necessary (new filters can really affect your heating bill!), checking my windows for drafts, and making sure that my doors seal properly. every penny counts! I’d also recommend turning your thermostat down at night, and using more blankets to stay warm. (winter is a great time for cuddling, too! save energy while improving your relationship!)
