When you can’t save energy, make the most of it

Many electronics and machines have a “Warm up time”, in which they spike in their energy usage while coming up to the correct state or operating temperature. If a machine has to run all day and all night, or at least throughout a work day, it’s best to leave these machines on and in a power saving mode, if possible. This way, you save the boot up/warm up time and that huge spike in energy consumption for a machine that should stay running.

We’ve made a set of decals to remind your employees to leave machines on that should be left on. These 1″ circle decals are a simple red and white design that gets the job done. They can be placed on power buttons, near power panels or near control centers for the constant reminder that saving energy sometimes means making the most of our steady energy consuming devices.
